Benefits of Dry Skin Brushing
Dr Jensen one of the worlds recognised health authorities has said:
“I believe that skin brushing is one of the finest of all baths. No soap can wash the skin as clear as the new skin you have under the old “

Did you know??….
Skin brushing removes the skins top layer, helps to eliminate uric acid crystals, catarrh and various other acids in the body. The skin should eliminate two pounds of waste acids daily!

Why is Dry Skin Brushing Recommended?
Dry skin brushing is recommended to stimulate lymph and blood circulation for the removal of impurities from under the skin surface. 10 mins of dry skin brushing is equal to 30 minutes vigorous exercise for lymphatic drainage.

How to Dry Skin Brush Properly
To brush your skin start at the soles of your feet and work your way up the legs, your front and back brushing as vigorously as you feel able (you’ll find you can build up the pressure after a few days).
Then do your hands up to your arms. Focus the brush strokes, when doing your chest and upper back towards your heart. Don’t do your face but give the back of your neck and your scalp a good go.

For hygienic reasons you need a separate brush for each member of the family and of course you need to wash the brush itself every couple of weeks.

What sort of Brush to Use for Dry Skin Brushing?
Use a natural bristle brush, do not use a synthetic or nylon bristle
